In Recognition of Outstanding Service.

On the occasion of Mr. Carmel H. Psaila's retirement from the executive committee the newly elected executive committee on behalf of the Malta Photographic Society wishes to express its gratitude to Mr. Psaila for his outstanding forty five years of service to the Society.
Mr. Psaila's retirement from the executive committee ends a nine year stint as President preceded by thirty six years as Hon Secretary; he also edited the Society Journal for a number of years and the society newsletter for the duration of his tenure with the executive committee. Since 1983 Mr Psaila also fulfilled the roles of FIAP liaison officer, charied the FIAP distinctions commission and represented the society in ten international FIAP congresses.
Mr. Psaila’s unwavering dedication and commitment has played a key role in the society's numerous successes over the years. The legacy of his efforts will be enjoyed by the Society’s members for many years to come.
Once again we thank Mr. Psaila and while wishing him a happy retirement and we look forward to enjoying his company at the Society’s events for many years to come.
Also ending their tenure on the executive committee are Mr Anton Cini, Mr Lawrence Bonnici and Mr Anthony Xuereb who also have given the Society sterling service in their respective roles as Hon Treasurer, International Exhibitions Secretary and Local Competitions Coordinator. The society wishes to expresses its gratitude towards these colleagues for their efforts and contributions.
